Dress 4: Cruisin'

This dress was inspired by an image I saw of a fashion week show, but I can't find that image for the life of me anymore. My favorite color is blue, and I like to consider turquoise and teal in the blue family rather than in the green family so I can include it in my favorite color range. Then on the more red side of the blue colors is purple, used in the purple belt--finished off by a cool silver buckle. Both teal and lavender are colors planned for Spring 2010. Also notice the boat neck. This would be a great dress for those with wider shoulders since it has the wider boat neckline. I've never been on a cruise, but apparently there's a black tie night, so the name of this dress is a play off of the boat neck, and the fact that it's a little bit fancier than Dress #3.

Here are some different belt colors.

Dress 3: Sailor Modifications

I had some more thoughts for this dress. Different colors, and no flowers. Also, the lines on the skirt part of the dress aren't pin stripes, they're just showing that the skirt is more full than just the outline.

Please give your feedback as to which you'd purchase if you saw these all on a rack in a store for a decent price:

Black and White w/o Flowers:

Turquoise and White

Turquoise and Teal

Dress 2: Gathered Sophistication

Here is the second dress I designed. This one I kept thinking about while I was trying to go to sleep, so I had to get up and get it out of my head so I could sleep. Then I also came up with some others to come.

Here's the hand drawn sketch:

Here's the ai creation including a back design with the color I imagined it:

I decided to make it look more spring, so here's one spring version:

Dress 1: Retro Ruffles

This is my first dress design. I sketched it out in my sketchbook that I bought for 8th grade art. Then I used AI to make it cleaner and easier to color.

Here's the sketch (please excuse the scanner marks):

Here's another color that I thought it'd look good in:

Also thought it'd look good in teal:
