This is my first dress design. I sketched it out in my sketchbook that I bought for 8th grade art. Then I used AI to make it cleaner and easier to color.
Here's the sketch (please excuse the scanner marks):

Here's the AI version including the back:

Here's another color that I thought it'd look good in:

Also thought it'd look good in teal:

Looks great, Sarah!
ReplyDeleteWhat is A1?
AI is Adobe Illustrator
ReplyDeleteI really like this one! What fabric are you thinking? I can imagine it would flow really nicely in a satin-type fabric, but then it would also probably look nice in a stretchy material, too.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking medium stretchy comfortable material. maybe a rayon blend or something? I was thinking Satin would be too 80's but they say they're coming back, I just don't want to be all out 80's.
ReplyDeleteI like this a lot, but I like it better in the lighter colors. I would prefer it with some kind of stretchy cotton blend (which I think would also make it less expensive?). I think the asymmetry is really neat!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jennie :)
